We are proud to announce a new Pressure Care Mattress Course which is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to properly select, use, and maintain pressure care mattresses for patients at risk of developing pressure ulcers. Presented by our knowledgeable inhouse team, this is a 2-hour course held over MS Teams.
The course will cover the Softform, Essential, Propad and the pressure care accessories. It will include topics such as the causes and risk factors for pressure ulcers, the different types of pressure care mattresses available in the Invacare range. Additionally, the course will also cover how to clean and maintain pressure care mattresses. The aim of the course is to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide optimal pressure care for patients, to prevent the development of pressure ulcers and promote healing for those who already have them.
