We are excited to announce that Matrx MAC has been awarded the Mobility Product Award for 2024. It won in the Backs, Wheelchair: Planar Back & Laterals (E2620-2621) category. The award was presented by Mobility Management, a leading publication serving the mobility, accessibility and complex rehab technology industries.
Matrx® MAC is our new approach to bespoke back support. The multi-adjustable contour back with an optional HUG cushion insert is a modular solution best suited to tilt and recline applications. Featuring interchangeable and ambidextrous laterals that can be mixed and matched to provide bespoke trunk support for people presenting with more complex postural needs.
Michel Miltenburg, Global Group Product Manager for Seating at Invacare comments on the award:
“Matrx® MAC is completely configurable for the widest range of body shapes and conditions. Since we launched Matrx MAC at the European Seating Symposium last year, we received significant interest from clinicians and therapists across Europe. This award is testament to its innovative back design and we are pleased that its popularity is continuing to grow. Thank you to Mobility Management for the further recognition.”
