Seven-time Paralympic Champion, and one of the world’s best-known athletes, Hannah Cockroft (pictured) has been honoured with an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to Sport.
Hannah, who is an ambassador for our Kuschall brand, has won seven Paralympic gold medals to date, and holds multiple world and Paralympic records from the 100 metres to 1500 metres.
Hannah was recently awarded her OBE by Princess Anne at a ceremony in Windsor Castle. "It was a massive honour to be there and to be recognised for a sport I still love. I’ve never been into Windsor Castle before, so it was great to get the chance to go inside - it was beautiful!”.
Hannah was introduced to para-sport at the age of 12 and is still passionate to compete. She is now in training for the Para Athletics World Championships, due to be held in Paris in 2023 and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
