The Essential Plus mattress offers a comfortable and supportive surface suitable for individuals at a higher risk of pressure ulcers. They can use it in either a homecare or residential care environment for use on Invacare medical beds or other makes of beds.
This mattress features a polyurethane cover with waterproof qualities to prevent liquid ingress. It also has an additional internal fabric that prevents any spillage into the mattress or damage to the cover. Zipped on 3 sides, the cover provides quick and easy access to the mattress for inspection or removal for cleaning.
It has a series of castellated cells in the mattress foam for even pressure distribution to help prevent pressure sores.
The Essential Plus mattress by Invacare has an innovative and modern cover design with the simple wave giving the mattress a fresh and current feel.
It's available in two sizes: the first with 1950 x 880 x 140 mm, and a second with 2000 x 855 x 140 mm.
