Invacare’s sports ambassador Lucy Shuker has the winning formula once again with her tennis doubles partner Dutch born Diede de Groot. Continuing their unbeaten record together, Shuker and co-winner Diede de Groot re-joined forces and went on to win once again in the Bath Indoor Wheelchair Tennis tournament after winning at the Doubles Masters in California two weeks ago.
The undefeated pair have performed well together, but it’s time for them to part ways now as Shuker is due to compete in the Singles Masters in London, two weeks from now.
“I’m feeling good physically and mentally heading into the Singles Masters in just under two weeks' time. It will be nice to be back in London and playing in a round robin format means you can have the odd bad game and still do well, so I’m looking forward to it,” she said.
